BEARPAW GAUGE CHECKER
The gauge checker is a must-have instrument for every archer.
- It's used to measure the bow's brace height (the distance from the string to the farthest point of the grip), this distance has a major role on the bow's performance and accuracy. It must be kept around the values specified by the bow's manufacturer.
- It's used to properly position the nock point on the string, and thus to ensure a clean flight of the arrow when leaving the bow.
- It's used to measure the bow's tiller (the difference in actual distance between the upper limb to the string and lower limb to the string measured from the base of the limbs - where the limb and riser meet - at a 90 degree angle).
