To sharpen the cone for the tip and nock perfectly, the blades in the Taper Tool must be sharp.
With prolonged use, the blade wears out, which can affect the outcome adversely.
If bad results are obtained when sharpening the cone for the nock and tip, we recommend replacing the blades of the Taper Tool with new ones.
